Born in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, England, I moved all over the world before landing in Beaumont, TX. In 1989 I graduated from Lumberton High School, and 6 days later shipped off to the U.S. Army’s Basic Training center at Fort Leonard Wood, Kentucky. After fulfilling my 4 year enlistment (including a combat tour in Iraq during Operation Desert Storm) I returned to Civilian life.

The day after I left the Military I began working in a Powersports/Motorcycle dealership. This began a career that spanned 25 years in the industry, working at/with the following dealerships and organizations:

Currently, I’m still working for Woods Cycle Country and Woods Indian Motorcycle in the role of Strategic Advisor. I also consult for Spader Business Management, facilitating four 20 Groups in the Marine, RV, and Powersports industries.

Each year Powersports Business releases their top 20 list of the prior year’s most read articles. I’m excited to announce that the Ground Truth article that I released during the early days of the 2021 COVID-19 pandemic took home the 20th spot.
