In the early 90’s my first foray into the powersports industry was as a parts manager. I love working with data and managing parts is still one of my favorite positions in the dealership.
The parts manager side of me is always thinking about parts, sales, stocking, ordering and all other types of nerd metrics. During this crisis we find ourselves in, one of the crazy things I keep coming back to is how are businesses and their DMS systems going to account for the great March 2020 toilet paper purchasing spike? Next February, every computer system in the country is going to want to place huge stocking orders for TP!
