When I first began working at a large powersports dealership in Austin, TX, we implemented a Daily Dozen checklist tailored for each Department Manager. Although not overly intricate, it served as a helpful reminder of daily tasks for managerial responsibilities.
A couple of years back, I made my parts and service checklists public documents, and utilizing crowdsourcing, I watched them grow and evolve. For the last year, dealers have been asking for a Sales Manager’s Daily Dozen. I finally had the time to put that together.
Your insights and suggestions for refining the checklist are highly encouraged. Should there be ample interest, I intend to extend this initiative to include tailored checklists for Finance Managers as well.
