RV Trader fact sheet

My daily discussions with RV dealers have not been as promising as what I’m seeing in the powersports industry, but there are some outliers who are making it work. Regional lockdowns appear to be hitting the RV dealers in a significant way, but I still see some dealers who are stepping up their game, working all the incoming leads, and setting up deals for the day the front doors reopen.

John Fall over at the RV Trader shared some promising stats with me. During the weekend of April 18/19, their website traffic was up 20.4% over the prior weekend, and for the week ending April 19th, lead volume was up a staggering 35% over the prior week.

Our customers are getting sick of being stuck in the house, and will soon be looking for new avenues of escape. Social distancing is something that is easy to do in an RV, and will provide many opportunities as the COVID pandemic drags on.

Is your sales team on deck, working every lead, and setting your dealership up for success in the future? If they aren’t, then I bet your competition is taking advantage of this incredible opportunity. You only have two choices, adapt or die. Your call.
